Shevet Harel's first event for the new Israeli Scouts in Los Angeles

With the support of the ILC, Shevet Harel launched the first event for the new Israeli Scouts in Los Angeles on Sunday, December 16th.  Over 63 participants, all ages 8-18, attended the first event and enjoyed activities about Israel and the Tzofim. As one of the first organized Israeli activities in the city, the parents as well as the participants could not hide their excitement. Under the leadership of new ILC member Tania Goldreich and led by Shlicha Dana Elkis, Shevet Harel seeks to strengthen the Israeli bond of its members and develop their leadership skills while building connections with other community members.  

Running 30 years strong, the Friends of the Israeli scouts, now in partnership with the ILC, continues to be a vital component in cultivating the Israeli community in Los Angeles and reinforcing their connection to Israel while living in LA. We are convinced that this partnership will only continue to flourish and grow.
